The Robotics club is a technological, team-based club allowing high students to socially interact with new people, develop communication skills, and use academic skills they've learned in class including Algebra, Physics, English, and more. They also gain opportunities to learn from mentors from the work place. The club is divided into five groups all specializing in different aspects to make a fully functional team and robot. The mechanical team is responsible for designing and building the body of the robot. The web-design team creates and manages the team's web-page. The Awards team documents the entire team's accomplishments including community service. The programming team develops code that operates the robot. The Electrical team deals with powering the robot. The spirit team designs the team's logos, shirts, and chants for the main event.
